The birth of Xyyakitr stems from a deep resonance with the British philosophy: "Clarity in vision, craftsmanship for protection."
At the very beginning of our brand, we visited optical workshops in London, eyewear boutiques in Edinburgh, and strolled the streets of Manchester, discovering that British users have an exceptional pursuit for reading glasses with "precise magnification and comfortable wear," and sunglasses with "anti-glare and anti-fog" features. Our products must withstand Britain’s year-round rain and fog (prevent lens fogging) as well as intense summer UV rays (protecting eyes from damage), while also fitting seamlessly into daily reading and outdoor commuting scenarios—all without compromising on retro yet minimalist aesthetics.
Our brand story began with a chance encounter with a veteran optometrist in London. As he polished his handcrafted lenses of 22 years, he said,
“Good glasses should be like a lighthouse in London’s fog—dispelling visual blur, protecting your eyes, feeling light on the nose, and looking elegant without being ostentatious. That’s true care.”
These words became our guiding principle: Reading glasses feature high-transparency optical resin lenses with a diopter accuracy of ≤±0.05D, and lightweight frames (each weighing ≤15g); sunglasses offer UV400 protection, anti-fog coated lenses, and temple arms designed to fit British facial contours, all conforming to EU CE certification.
Our mission is “Crafting lenses with ingenuity, safeguarding clarity with detail.”
Reading glasses’ comfort has been tested by over 300 users, sunglasses maintain anti-fog effectiveness for up to 8 hours, the entire collection passes skin irritation tests, and selected models are recommended by the British Optical Association.
To deeply root ourselves in the UK, we established an R&D center in Birmingham (the core area of the optical industry), with a team including local optometrists and industrial designers. Raw materials are prioritized to be eco-friendly resin and titanium alloy. Out of ten production steps, six are overseen by British quality inspectors with 19 years’ experience, ensuring that everything from lens precision to frame durability fulfills our “reliable and reassuring” promise.
Looking ahead, Xyyakitr plans to launch a recyclable frame series within three years, and within five years establish a nationwide “optometry & eyewear care station” network across the UK, offering free vision checks and anti-fog maintenance advice for the rainy season.
We firmly believe that growth is not about expanding scale, but about ensuring every pair of glasses delivers clear vision and becomes a reliable companion in protecting the eyes of users across Britain.
